Synastry is defined as: the comparison between the horoscopes of two or more people in order to determine their likely compatibility and relationship.

In relationship with our children, it is important to understand how our astrology influences each other. When two charts are put together, each planetary body acts as a “permanent” transit to the other chart, which stimulates responses & experiences between each other. These experiences are important to understand when looking at the nativity of both parent & child, as each other will highlight different parts of the chart to reflect areas of mutual influence, growth, tension, exploration, & transformation.

When working with a child’s chart, since the child is still developing its sense of self, the focus is on how to nurture the chart based on the planetary influences. It is less of a projection of the personality & more of a guiding hand that influences how to help the child mature through their astrological influences.

The emphasis will be placed on the parent’s chart, how it relates to the child’s chart, & how each other are mutually pulling each other together. In this session, we will empower the parent to best provide energetic support to the child, while explaining how the child is influencing the parent’s experience of themselves.
